When I first met Abby I thought she was a quiet soul. And in some ways she is indeed. But after many years watching her grow up and becoming the lovely young woman that she is, her quiet side is just one small facet of what makes her so special. Abby has the ability to do what so many people can’t do…she speaks her mind. She speaks it in a way that will either make you smile and laugh or it will make you soak in everything she is saying. Her quick wit is so perfectly positioned in conversations she will have your side aching from laughter. Right now though it is my heart that aches a bit thinking of her being a senior in high school. I’ve never liked change nor do I like to watch the people I love move on to new places. But I also love Abby enough to let her spirit permeate the lives of all the people that will enter her life in the near future. She is a blessing and I will love her always. Congratulations Abby, I am so proud of who you are.
