There are little traditions that come and go every year that make each season special. When I first started to date my now husband it was pretty obvious from the start that his family was chalk full of fun little traditions. Whether it’s poppers on Christmas morning, pie contests, extravagant wine pairing dinners, Halloween costume contests, or hats at Thanksgiving (to name a few), this family knows how to celebrate! I cleared my schedule to make sure I wouldn’t miss out on the annual gingerbread house making. And true to make creative nature, I was the last one at the table building my farm scene. Every year the houses get more detailed and the floor gets more dirty. But the candy-laden floor is worth the fun and laughs which are shared around the table.
