A decade ago I was lucky enough to move into a scholarship hall filled with 50 women who were all seeking degrees and living out their college days to the max. As my time in the schol hall grew I was lucky enough to end up living with the sweet girl in these photographs. Rachel and Eric were such great additions of friendship in my life. So many of my college memories involve these two. I was sitting across the table from them when Eric was so sweet to take all of us girls out for a night on the town. I traveled to Vegas with Rachel for one of the best college trips ever. I helped in the challenge of trying to secretly get a cake up the fire escape for Rachel’s surprise candle-lighting right after these two got engaged. I even photographed their engagement photos oh so long ago. And now I am lucky enough to still call them friends and watch their family grow. Everything about this photo shoot made me happy. I loved chasing Noah around and watching him discover new things. I loved the laughs I shared with both Rachel and Eric about the joys of parenthood. And I loved little Lucas and his cute little cheeks.
