Dakota and Lauren

It’s not often that I wait until the last minute to make a call on whether a photo session will happen or not, but with the weather we’ve been having lately in Kansas it hasn’t given me much of a choice. For the better part of a week this session didn’t look like it would happen. Even a few hours before as dark clouds filled the sky and rain poured down I had my doubts. But then the clouds broke and the rain pushed away leaving the warmth of a sunset. It was the perfect backdrop to capture Dakota and Lauren’s love story. These two were naturals in front of the camera, mostly due to the fact that they are simply in love with one another. It’s not hard to find an affectionate pose when your subjects are crazy about one another. So glad to have been a part of these moments and I can’t wait to see them say I do.
