the Kellys

This is the last wedding of the summer! One of the special moments for us from this season was that we got to photograph two sisters weddings a month apart from each other. Lauren got married at the beginning of June and Lindsey tied the knot this past weekend. What I love about these two sisters was how they each had a unique vision for their wedding. One chose a rustic barn venue set out in the country and the other chose a downtown venue which dazzled in the evening hours. It was such a pleasure to see them swap roles and dote on each other equally.

Lindsey and George were married in the heart of downtown KC at the Berg event space. Lindsey planned their wedding day so perfectly! She chose accent colors of red and gold which gave the entire space a classic look. From the hand-painted gold cake to the bouquets bursting with red roses…she did an amazing job with all the details. When George got up to thank everyone for gathering, I loved watching him hold on to Lindsey tightly as he honored those who had made their day happen. He is the kind of guy who will be deeply devoted to Lindsey while constantly making her laugh. Lindsey has a gentle soul. You can see it and her heart anytime she got close to George.
