In all the weddings I’ve shot over the last eight years, four of them have been for family. Capturing a family wedding always adds an interesting twist to the day. You usually know most of the guests and it is easier to cut loose and have fun when you already have a long-standing relationship with the most important people involved. This was especially true at Mike and Rebekah’s wedding because I’ve known the bride since the day I was born—she’s my sister. My favorite part of the day was watching just how happy Rebekah was whenever Mike was by her side. I also enjoyed watching Mike surprised Rebekah by singing “Your Song” to her in the middle of their ceremony. It was a blessing to be a part of their day!
