Mitch and Heather

If you’ve booked a wedding with me you know I’ll bring John with me to capture the day or my cousin, Heather. Sometimes, I bring them both! For years as we have driven to weddings, Heather and I have had many conversations about what her wedding would look like and who that lucky guy would be that would get to marry her. This past May, on the way to capture a wedding with Heather, there was someone new to discuss: Mitch. From what Heather shared with me during that drive, I knew this guy would be special. They were already so adorably matched just because she is an art teacher and he is a music teacher. But the deeper matters of the heart aligned too, and I had a feeling that this might be the one for her.

As you can imagine, I was jumping up and down when my mom text me to tell me that Heather was engaged to Mitch. I feel honored that I get to capture their special day this coming June. Heather has done such a beautiful job helping me capture many couples’ weddings over the years and I’m elated that it is her turn to be in front of the camera. I’m also excited to have Mitch join our family!  We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your engagement session!
