life…our ten year reunion

Ten years.

I remember the day I tossed my green graduation cap up in the air and left the building I had called home for thirteen years. It’s hard to imagine from that point in life where your path will take you. It’s even harder to imagine the 55 friends you saw every single day for years and years would no longer be around as they once were. I may have left graduation day thrilled and ready to seize the world, but I remember feeling a twinge of sadness knowing friendships might fade away. I was wrong though. Yes, we all seemed to go different ways, but somehow we always end up together again. I am lucky to have the people I graduated with. Lucky that even after ten days or ten years, you can pick up right where you left off.
