This morning on my way to work one of my favorite songs came on the radio: Switchfoot’s “Your Love is a Song”. If you haven’t noticed, there’s been a lot of anger going on in the world these days. I don’t say much about it because dwelling on it just breaks my heart. But I felt it this morning as I drove to work on a dark winter morning. So much darkness. So much anger.
But as the song played out on the radio, I couldn’t help but notice a name in the lyrics that I hadn’t before.
Your love is a symphony

Underneath me

Your love is a song
I feel like we got a little glimpse of God’s love when baby Melody decided to join us. She is so wonderfully perfect. A sweet symphony of love breaking through the darkness.
