This past weekend my husband and I packed up and headed out of town for a business trip. It just so happened that the little town my husband would be working in didn’t have any feasible hotels. So instead we opted for a little getaway in Hermann, Missouri. We are told that on the weekend Hermann is abuzz with activity and people. But our weekday adventure led us to believe differently. We loved how this small city felt like a ghost town throughout our stay. If the idea of B & B’s, antique shops, vineyards, and small town character appeals to you then this is the place to visit. It was the perfect place to slow down and remember what a wonderful summer we’ve had.
